Privacy
This is a personal blog by Radion Balan. It measures visits to learn what people read — nothing is sold or used for advertising.
Anonymous statistics
This site sets no cookies and uses no Google Analytics or other third-party tracking.
Umami, self-hosted on my own server in Austria, counts page views without cookies. It sees the page, the referring site, browser, operating system, device type and the country derived from your IP address. The IP address itself is not stored, and visits cannot be linked to you or across days.
Browsers that send “Do Not Track” are not counted at all.
Hosting and security
Requests pass through Cloudflare, which needs your IP address to deliver the page and to block attacks and abuse (legitimate interest, Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR).
